Wave Springs
Wave Springs offer a convenient method of exerting a pre-load on vee packing where little or no adjustment is available. Because of a low fatigue factor, the spring should provide a proper pre-load through the life of the packing.
Carbon Steel Shims
Carbon steel shims (designated by a 'SSRS' prefix in the product name) are commonly used with vee packing sets to fill the empty space in a gland.
